The Middle East Venture Capital Association (MEVCA) is a platform for the venture capital community in the Middle East to collaborate, to share best practices and to promote the development of the venture capital industry in the region in ways that protect the interests of both investors and investees alike. MEVCA aims to accelerate the growth of venture-backed companies in the region and to lower barriers for  start-ups and SMEs looking to raise capital in the Middle East.

MEVCA's board includes some of the region's leaders in the venture capital space including: Algebra Capital, BECO Capital, Jabbar Internet Group, MEVP, Silicon Badia, Valia Investments, VentureSouq, Womena, B&Y Venture Partners, Faith Capital, STV, Raed VC and Women's Angel Investment Network. This board will establish regional best practices through regular and reliable research, the issuing of white papers on the venture capital and entrepreneurial ecosystems, and through holding frequent venture capital industry meetings.

To further ensure connectivity to the entrepreneurial community, MEVCA has also cemented partnerships with Endeavor, the National Venture Capital Association (US) and Arabnet.
